Enterprise Engineer

About this role

Cartesia is seeking an Enterprise Engineer to build production-ready agentic voice AI systems for enterprise customers. You'll architect scalable platform infrastructure, define reliability standards, and transform customer deployment patterns into reusable core capabilities that enable growth across demanding global environments.

What you'll do

• Design and deliver enterprise-grade systems including on-premises deployments and agent infrastructure
• Own platform primitives and core abstractions that Cartesia's largest customers depend on
• Convert recurring customer deployment patterns into scalable, long-term platform solutions
• Establish and maintain reliability, security, and operational standards across enterprise offerings
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate customer needs into product improvements
• Lead the technical strategy for enterprise-scale deployments globally

• Backend engineering and infrastructure design
• Go and/or Python proficiency
• Platform services and core abstraction development
• Long-term maintainability and modular architecture thinking
• Enterprise deployment (on-prem, VPCs, compliance)
• Observability, security hardening, and multi-tenancy
• Cross-functional collaboration
• Systems design at scale
