About this role
Celigo seeks a Design Engineer to bridge design and engineering by maintaining a React component library, prototyping complex interactions, and enabling the UX team to move faster. This inaugural role combines deep front-end expertise with design sensibility to ensure design intent matches production reality.
What you'll do
- Maintain and evolve the production React component library that implements the Celigo design system
- Prototype complex interactions and animations in code to validate design decisions quickly
- Build AI-assisted workflows with agent rules and reusable skills for the UX team
- Enable UX team velocity by defining ways of working, teaching, and pairing with designers
- Review front-end pull requests for design fidelity and WCAG 2.1 AA compliance
- Keep Figma and React component libraries structurally in sync using atomic design principles
