Electronics Engineer I

About this role

CesiumAstro seeks an Electronics Engineer I to develop advanced hardware for satellite and aerospace communication systems. You'll manage full-stack electronics design from concept through testing, working hands-on across all development phases with mentorship from senior engineers in a dynamic startup environment.

What you'll do

• Own hardware development for complex electronics modules across concept, design, analysis, layout, build, and test phases
• Conduct board-level circuit design and detailed electrical analysis for aerospace applications
• Perform PCB layout and component selection for high-reliability space systems
• Build and test prototypes, troubleshooting issues and iterating on designs
• Present engineering design reviews and technical materials to customers and leadership
• Collaborate cross-functionally with senior and principal engineers on product development
