About this role

Contact Government Services seeks an experienced Cloud and Storage Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise SAN infrastructure based on EMC products for a federal agency. The role involves architecting complex multi-tier storage solutions, managing capacity and disaster recovery, and ensuring 24/7 system uptime in a collaborative government technology environment.

What you'll do

  • Design and deploy full-scale SAN architecture using EMC-based infrastructure across geographically dispersed, multi-platform environments
  • Develop standards and processes for storage configuration, optimization, replication, virtualization, security, and disaster recovery
  • Perform capacity planning, utilization reporting, and cost modeling for storage and backup systems
  • Troubleshoot complex SAN issues and resolve problems with internal and external customers
  • Execute scheduled maintenance and infrastructure projects while maintaining 24/7/365 uptime
  • Architect and maintain private and hybrid cloud environments including AWS/Azure Gov Cloud
