About this role
Contact Government Services seeks an experienced Cloud and Storage Engineer to design and manage large-scale EMC SAN infrastructure for a federal agency. The role involves architecting storage solutions, optimizing performance and disaster recovery, and maintaining 24/7 system uptime across complex, geographically dispersed environments.
What you'll do
- Design and implement full-scale SAN architecture for multi-enterprise EMC infrastructure with petabytes of storage capacity
- Develop standards and processes for storage configuration, optimization, replication, and security
- Perform capacity planning, utilization reporting, and cost modeling for storage and backup environments
- Troubleshoot complex SAN issues and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve problems
- Execute scheduled maintenance and infrastructure projects while ensuring 24/7/365 uptime
- Architect and maintain private and hybrid cloud environments, including government cloud platforms
