About this role
CGS seeks an experienced Cloud and Storage Engineer to design, implement, and maintain large-scale EMC-based SAN infrastructure for a federal agency. The role involves architecting storage solutions, managing disaster recovery and backup systems, and ensuring 24/7 infrastructure uptime in a fast-paced government contracting environment.
What you'll do
- Design and implement full-scale SAN architecture for multi-enterprise, geographically dispersed EMC environments
- Develop standards and processes for storage configuration, optimization, replication, virtualization, and security
- Perform capacity planning, utilization reporting, and cost modeling for storage solutions
- Troubleshoot complex SAN infrastructure issues and coordinate with internal and external customers
- Architect and maintain private cloud and hybrid cloud environments with government cloud experience
- Execute maintenance, security assessments, patch management, and auditing tasks
