About this role

Contact Government Services seeks an experienced Cloud and Storage Engineer to design, implement, and manage large-scale EMC-based SAN infrastructure for a federal agency. The role involves architecting storage solutions, ensuring disaster recovery and security, and maintaining 24/7 system uptime in a complex, geographically dispersed environment.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement full-scale SAN architecture across multi-tier, multi-platform solutions with EMC storage arrays
  • Develop standards and processes for storage configuration, optimization, replication, and security
  • Perform capacity planning, utilization reporting, and cost modeling for storage and backup environments
  • Troubleshoot complex SAN infrastructure issues and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Architect and maintain private cloud environments with experience in Gov Cloud and hybrid configurations
  • Execute maintenance, security assessments, patch management, and vulnerability reviews
