Cloud and Storage Engineer

About this role

Contact Government Services seeks an experienced Cloud and Storage Engineer to design and manage large-scale EMC SAN infrastructure for a federal agency client. You'll develop storage architecture, implement best practices, and ensure 24/7 system reliability while supporting complex, geographically dispersed enterprise environments.

What you'll do

• Design and implement full-scale SAN architecture across EMC storage arrays with petabyte-level capacity
• Develop standards and processes for storage configuration, optimization, replication, virtualization, and disaster recovery
• Perform capacity planning, utilization reporting, and technical documentation for storage solutions
• Troubleshoot complex SAN infrastructure issues and coordinate with internal and external customers
• Manage scheduled maintenance and infrastructure projects while maintaining 24/7/365 uptime
• Handle security tasks including vulnerability assessments, patch management, and compliance auditing

• Dell EMC products (OneFS, MDS SAN switches, Unity, Isilon, VNS, Data Domain, RecoverPoint)
• SAN architecture design and implementation
• Storage performance, capacity, and disaster recovery planning
• Private and hybrid cloud architectures
• AWS or Azure Government Cloud experience
• Fiber channel and multi-platform storage systems
• Security and compliance management
• Technical troubleshooting and documentation
