About this role

Contact Government Services seeks an experienced Cloud and Storage Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a large-scale EMC-based Storage Area Network (SAN) infrastructure for a federal agency. You'll develop storage standards, manage complex multi-tier environments, and ensure 24/7 uptime while supporting disaster recovery, replication, and cloud architectures.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement full-scale SAN architecture across geographically dispersed, multi-platform environments with petabytes of storage capacity
  • Develop standards and processes for storage configuration, optimization, replication, virtualization, and disaster recovery
  • Perform capacity planning, utilization reporting, and troubleshoot complex SAN infrastructure issues
  • Architect and maintain private cloud and hybrid cloud environments, including Government Cloud deployments
  • Plan and execute maintenance windows and infrastructure projects while maintaining 24/7 uptime
  • Execute security tasks including vulnerability assessments, patch management, and compliance auditing
