Cloud Engineer (AWS)

Contact Government Services seeks an experienced Cloud Engineer specializing in AWS to design and document cloud solutions for a federal agency. You'll architect scalable, secure systems while supporting technical transition to operations and guiding customers through implementation decisions.

What you'll do

• Design flexible, scalable cloud solutions that meet security and operational requirements
• Develop comprehensive documentation for engineering, security, and operational processes
• Conduct technical and business analysis to support customer decision-making
• Facilitate solution transitions to operations and monitor system performance
• Design and implement large-scale cloud-based solutions from development through production
• Support cloud migrations and develop implementation plans based on client needs

• AWS cloud services (required)
• Cloud architecture design (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS)
• Distributed systems and high-availability design
• Cloud migration methodologies and lift-and-shift migrations
• Networking, storage, and identity management
• Technical documentation and process development
• Federal government IT systems experience
• AWS or Cloud Architect Certification (or willingness to obtain)
