CommVault Systems Engineer

Contact Government Services seeks an experienced CommVault Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise backup and data protection solutions for a large-scale federal government environment. The role involves configuring complex backup infrastructure, troubleshooting recovery issues, managing security compliance, and collaborating with operations teams across geographically dispersed systems.

What you'll do

• Design, configure, and implement Commvault backup and recovery solutions across complex, multi-platform enterprise environments
• Create and maintain optimal backup, restore, and redundancy strategies including primary/auxiliary copies and VM-based backups
• Troubleshoot complex backup and recovery problems related to networking, applications, servers, hardware, and appliances
• Provide capacity planning, analytics, and reporting using Commvault management tools
• Implement security updates and patches in compliance with Federal Information Systems requirements and DISA STIGs
• Work with operations teams to develop infrastructure processes and tools supporting timely backup, restore, and data replication requests
