CommVault Systems Engineer

About this role

Contact Government Services seeks an experienced CommVault Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise backup and data protection solutions for a large-scale federal government environment. The role involves managing complex backup infrastructure, troubleshooting recovery issues, and ensuring compliance with federal security standards in a geographically dispersed WAN environment.

What you'll do

• Design, configure, and implement enterprise-scale backup and recovery solutions across multiple platforms and servers
• Create and maintain optimal backup strategies including primary/auxiliary copies and VM-based backups with regular maintenance
• Troubleshoot complex backup, recovery, and networking issues across applications, servers, hardware, and appliances
• Perform capacity planning, analytics, and reporting using CommVault management tools
• Apply security updates and patches in accordance with Federal Information Systems requirements
• Collaborate with operations teams to develop infrastructure processes and support backup/restore/replication requests
