CommVault Systems Engineer

About this role

CGS seeks an experienced CommVault Systems Engineer to design, configure, and support enterprise backup and data protection solutions for a large-scale federal government environment. You'll manage complex backup infrastructure, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure compliance with federal security requirements across geographically dispersed systems.

What you'll do

• Design and configure complex backup, recovery, and storage solutions using CommVault enterprise platform across WAN environments
• Create and maintain optimal backup, restore, and redundancy solutions including primary/auxiliary copies and VM-based backups
• Troubleshoot backup and recovery issues related to networking, applications, servers, hardware, and appliances
• Provide analytics, capacity planning, and reporting through CommVault management solutions
• Implement security updates and patches in accordance with Federal Information Systems requirements
• Collaborate with operations teams to develop enterprise infrastructure processes and support backup/restore requests
