CommVault Systems Engineer

Contact Government Services seeks an experienced CommVault Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions for a large federal government organization. The role involves managing complex, geographically dispersed data protection infrastructure across multiple platforms while ensuring compliance with federal security requirements.

What you'll do

• Design, configure, and implement CommVault backup and recovery solutions across complex enterprise environments
• Troubleshoot backup, recovery, and storage issues related to networking, applications, servers, and hardware
• Create and maintain optimal backup strategies including primary/auxiliary copies and VM-based backups
• Perform capacity planning, analytics, and reporting within CommVault management systems
• Apply security patches and updates in accordance with federal compliance standards (DISA STIGs)
• Collaborate with operations teams to develop infrastructure processes and ensure timely backup/restore requests
