CommVault Systems Engineer

Contact Government Services seeks an experienced CommVault Systems Engineer to design, configure, and maintain enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions for a large-scale federal government organization. The role involves troubleshooting complex data protection infrastructure, managing security compliance, and collaborating with operations teams to ensure reliable backup and restore capabilities across geographically dispersed environments.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and implement complex backup and recovery solutions using CommVault across multi-platform, geographically dispersed environments
• Create and maintain optimal backup, restore, and redundancy strategies including primary/auxiliary copies and VM-based backups
• Troubleshoot backup and recovery issues related to networking, applications, servers, hardware, and appliances
• Perform capacity planning, analytics, and reporting within CommVault management and monitoring solutions
• Implement security updates, patches, and compliance measures in accordance with Federal Information Systems requirements
• Collaborate with operations teams to develop enterprise infrastructure processes and support timely backup, restore, and data replication requests
