About this role

CGS seeks an experienced Desktop/Workstation Design Engineer to lead OS image development and large-scale software deployment initiatives. You'll serve as a subject matter expert architecting enterprise desktop solutions using MECM, MDT, and modern scripting technologies while ensuring security compliance across the organization.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement Windows OS images for enterprise deployment across desktops, laptops, tablets, and servers
  • Engineer large-scale software distribution packages and manage application updates using MECM and MDT
  • Develop automated server build processes and OS deployment methodologies
  • Provide technical recommendations for hardware selection and software requirements based on user needs
  • Execute security assessments including patch management, vulnerability reviews, and compliance auditing
  • Participate in architecture discussions and technology roadmap planning for desktop integration efforts
