Full Stack Developer

About this role

CGS seeks an experienced Full Stack Developer to build enterprise software solutions supporting government data management initiatives. You'll collaborate across teams to develop secure, scalable web applications while following modern development practices and contributing to government innovation.

What you'll do

• Develop full-stack web applications, APIs, and services
• Create and execute comprehensive software testing strategies
• Automate manual processes through scripting solutions
• Implement security enhancements and best practices across applications
• Manage version control and guide team processes
• Analyze technical requirements and use application metrics to inform decisions

• JavaScript and modern frameworks (Angular, Node.js, Nest.js)
• Front-end and back-end development
• SQL and NoSQL databases (Neo4j, Elasticsearch)
• Git version control and CI/CD pipelines
• Unix/Linux command line and administration
• Agile methodology and testing frameworks (Selenium)
• Application deployment and DevOps practices
