Java Developer

About this role

CGS is hiring a Java Developer in Washington, DC to enhance data utilization for a large state-run project. You'll aggregate data from multiple sources and design systems for collection, processing, storage, and reporting while working on enterprise-scale applications.

What you'll do

• Develop Java web applications using Java Server Faces Framework and integrate with SQL databases
• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to produce software designs and specifications
• Transform designs into functional code, test thoroughly, and perform debugging and optimization
• Integrate individual software solutions into larger enterprise systems
• Provide work estimates, status updates, and documentation to project managers and support teams
• Develop testing procedures and acceptance criteria with QA and business teams
