Java Developer

About this role

CGS seeks an experienced Java developer to enhance data utilization for a large state government project. You'll design and build enterprise-scale web applications that aggregate and process data from multiple sources, collaborating with business analysts and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Develop Java web applications using Java Server Faces Framework and integrate with SQL databases
• Aggregate data from multiple sources and design data collection, processing, and reporting systems
• Collaborate with business analysts and developers on software design and specifications
• Write, test, and debug code while performing system upgrades for security and efficiency
• Provide work estimates, status updates, and documentation to project managers and end users
• Integrate individual software solutions into larger enterprise systems
