Java Developer

About this role

CGS seeks an experienced Java developer to enhance data utilization for a large state-run project by aggregating data from multiple sources and designing systems for collection, processing, storage, and reporting. The role requires expertise in enterprise Java applications, web frameworks, and database integration within a collaborative government technology environment.

What you'll do

• Aggregate and analyze data from multiple existing sources to support project objectives
• Design and develop Java web applications using Java Server Faces Framework
• Collaborate with business analysts and teams to create software designs and specifications
• Integrate individual solutions into larger enterprise systems and test code for quality assurance
• Provide project estimates, status updates, and documentation for stakeholders and end-users
• Perform system upgrades and debugging to enhance security and efficiency
