Power BI Developer

About this role

CGS is hiring a mid-level Power BI Developer to build enterprise data analytics solutions for a major Federal agency. You'll design and deploy Power BI models, dashboards, and reports while collaborating with government stakeholders and supporting technical initiatives.

What you'll do

• Design and develop enterprise Power BI data models and analytics solutions
• Create, publish, and schedule reports and dashboards aligned with business needs
• Manage data integration, gateways, and self-service data preparation
• Gather functional and data requirements from business users to enhance models
• Conduct requirement analysis, design, and prototyping for analytics projects
• Ensure data security and implement application security layer best practices

• Power BI (tabular and multidimensional modeling)
• Microsoft Azure (Power BI, Flow, Cortana)
• SQL and relational database management systems
• ETL, SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS
• Azure DevOps and Agile methodologies
• Data modeling and requirement analysis
• Web APIs
• ESRI or geographical mapping systems (desired)
