Forward Deployed Engineer

About this role

Chalk seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer in Japan to implement their ML data platform for customers across healthcare, finance, and recommendation systems. You'll bridge technical and sales efforts by building feature pipelines, supporting customer onboarding, and collaborating closely with engineering and sales teams.

What you'll do

• Implement Chalk technology solutions for customers and prospects in production environments
• Serve as primary technical contact during pre-sales and post-sales customer engagements
• Build and optimize feature pipelines for use-cases like fraud detection and cancer prediction
• Partner with Engineering and Sales teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Recommend product enhancements as customer needs evolve
• Participate in hiring and growing the engineering team
