Full Stack Agentic Developer

About this role

Charles River Associates is hiring a Full Stack Agentic Developer to build and maintain a web-based AI platform that enables experts to create AI-driven workflows. The role spans React frontend, Node.js/TypeScript backend, and agentic system components, requiring deep expertise across the entire stack to deliver reliable, production-grade AI applications.

What you'll do

• Develop React/Vite web application for session management, file review, real-time agent monitoring, and results inspection
• Build and maintain Express/TypeScript APIs for session orchestration, file management, LLM routing, and agent coordination
• Implement real-time streaming interfaces between backend, agent runtime, and UI using server-sent events and event-driven patterns
• Design and own parts of the custom agent loop including model provider integration, tool execution, and error recovery
• Develop proprietary tools for file operations, analysis, transformation, and document creation within sandboxed environments
• Translate complex backend and agent states into intuitive UI patterns for progress tracking, error handling, and workflow resumption
