About this role

Chicago Trading Company seeks software engineers to develop real-time trading infrastructure and risk management applications. You'll work in a fast-paced environment building sophisticated tools while gaining exposure to options trading through mentorship and desk shadowing.

What you'll do

• Design, code, and test distributed real-time trading systems and risk applications
• Apply data structures, algorithms, and multi-threading concepts to solve trading technology challenges
• Participate in short development cycles with frequent software releases
• Collaborate with trading and technology teams to understand market requirements
• Shadow trading desks to learn about options market making and risk management
• Contribute to innovation in quantitative research and systematic trading strategies
