Product Security Engineer

About this role

Join Chime's Product Security team as an early-career security engineer where you'll design and implement security controls across infrastructure, application, and enterprise domains. You'll build automation, respond to security findings, and use AI tools to strengthen security practices while receiving mentorship and exposure to diverse security challenges.

What you'll do

• Develop automation and workflows to detect and report security findings
• Track and remediate discovered security vulnerabilities
• Contribute to projects reducing security risks and attack surface
• Review technical designs for security implications
• Respond to findings from security researchers and penetration testers
• Write code and build security automation tools

What they're looking for

• Cloud security (AWS and ideally GCP)
• Coding in Go, Python, or Ruby
• Application and cloud security concepts
• Terraform (preferred)
• Security vulnerability assessment
• Infrastructure security
• Problem-solving and adaptability
• AI tool proficiency
