Software Engineer, MyPay

About this role

Join Chime's MyPay team to build backend services powering earned wage access for millions of members. You'll design scalable systems handling real-time money movement, underwriting, and financial transactions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive rapid experimentation and impact.

What you'll do

• Own and deliver consumer product features end-to-end, from design through deployment
• Design and build resilient backend services and APIs supporting the mobile app
• Develop, test, and refactor scalable implementations of new product features
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, and Risk teams to solve member pain points
• Identify and drive improvements to system reliability and scalability
• Maintain high technical standards and grow into larger system components
