Forward Deployed Engineer

About this role

Cinder seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed directly with enterprise customers' Trust & Safety teams, implementing their content moderation platform and serving as a technical and strategic advisor. You'll diagnose safety challenges, drive platform adoption across major internet companies, and bridge product capabilities with real-world deployment needs.

What you'll do

• Embed with strategic enterprise customers to implement and optimize Cinder's safety platform
• Diagnose and solve customer safety problems with technical and strategic solutions
• Serve as subject matter expert on Cinder's platform and trust & safety practices for customers and agencies
• Address technical challenges and collaborate with engineering teams on feature development
• Triage and prioritize user feedback from thousands of Cinder users with Customer Success
• Drive adoption of user protection measures across major internet platforms

What they're looking for

• Forward deployment or solutions engineering in fast-paced SaaS environments
• Enterprise customer collaboration and organizational navigation
• Safety engineering and/or trust & safety operations experience
• AI/LLM tools and AI agents expertise
• Strong problem-solving and technical implementation abilities
• Comfort with ambiguity and rapid learning
• Enterprise data architecture familiarity
• Excellent communication and listening skills
