Software Engineer, Fullstack

About this role

CLEAR is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to build next-generation digital identity products using Python, Java, React, and TypeScript on AWS. You'll own the full development lifecycle—from design through deployment—while collaborating with product teams on privacy and security challenges.

What you'll do

• Develop and deploy code across frontend and backend systems
• Define best practices for testing, documentation, and observability
• Partner with product and stakeholders to discover requirements and solve complex problems
• Gain hands-on experience with privacy, security, data modeling, and architecture
• Drive architectural decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives
• Mentor and collaborate with less experienced team members
