About this role
ClearPoint is seeking an experienced Information System Security Engineer III to lead security engineering and accreditation efforts for their AI-Enabled Secure Space Operations & Management Platform, MERIDIAN. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to integrate security throughout the system’s lifecycle, manage the RMF package, and provide technical guidance to engineering teams. This position requires a strong understanding of NIST SP 800-53 and DoD RMF processes within a classified environment.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain SSP, SAR, and POA&M documentation for RMF accreditation.
- Review system architecture and provide security guidance to engineers.
- Conduct vulnerability scans and security assessments.
- Identify security weaknesses and recommend remediation.
- Implement and manage security controls.
- Mentor junior security staff.
