Backend Software Engineer - Reference Data Services

About this role

Clear Street seeks an experienced Backend Software Engineer to join the FACT team, building scalable reference data services that power their capital markets platform. You'll design and implement core microservices handling complex financial data across multiple asset classes while mentoring teammates and establishing technical standards.

What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs in Go for reference data management
• Build microservices architecture components handling security pricing, corporate actions, and market data
• Develop strategic caching solutions and robust signaling mechanisms for flexible data access
• Own feature design and implementation for processing financial transactions at scale
• Mentor engineers and help define engineering standards and best practices
• Collaborate across teams to integrate data from multiple sources into cohesive products
