Software Engineer - Low Touch Desk

About this role

Clear Street seeks an experienced Software Engineer to join their Algorithm/Research team in Chicago, designing and maintaining high-performance trading systems and algorithms. You'll enhance existing strategies, develop new tools, and influence platform evolution while working closely with traders and sales.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test and deploy trading strategies and algorithms
• Enhance existing trading strategies and create supporting tools
• Develop deep understanding of systems to guide future architecture decisions
• Collaborate with desk traders and sales to identify execution improvement opportunities
• Contribute to platform evolution as client base expands
