Founding Engineer ($3M pre-seed)

About this role

Join Clera as engineer #4 to build AI-powered recruiting automation that's disrupting a $600B industry. You'll ship features daily, own entire product areas, and work directly with founders in a San Francisco hackerhouse with proven traction and $3M in pre-seed funding.

What you'll do

• Design and deploy AI agent systems that automate end-to-end recruiting workflows
• Own complete product features from concept through production deployment
• Collaborate directly with CTO and founding engineers on technical architecture
• Iterate rapidly based on customer feedback and market signals
• Build scalable systems using TypeScript, React, and LLM APIs
• Engage with customers to understand pain points and validate solutions

• AI-assisted coding (Cursor or similar)
