Founding Engineer ($3M pre-seed)

About this role

Join Clera as engineer #4 to build AI-powered recruiting automation that disrupts a $600B industry. You'll have full ownership of product areas, ship daily, and work directly with experienced founders in a SF hackerhouse environment with early traction and paying customers.

What you'll do

• Design and ship features end-to-end from concept to production deployment
• Own entire product areas and make architectural decisions that shape the platform
• Build agentic AI systems that automate complex recruiting workflows
• Work closely with founders and engineering team on fast iteration cycles
• Engage with customers to gather feedback and inform product direction
• Contribute to technical stack decisions and system scalability
