Founding Engineer ($3M pre-seed)

About this role

Join Clera as engineer #4 to build AI-powered recruiting automation that's disrupting a $600B industry. You'll have full ownership of product areas, ship daily to production, and work alongside experienced founders with early traction from paying customers like Mintlify and Windsurf.

What you'll do

• Own entire product features from concept through deployment in a fast-paced environment
• Build and iterate on AI agent systems that automate complex recruiting workflows
• Collaborate directly with the CTO and founding engineering team to shape product direction
• Ship code to production daily and rapidly prototype new capabilities
• Engage with customers to gather feedback and drive product improvements
• Scale systems from early-stage to handle growing demand
