Founding Engineer ($3M pre-seed)

About this role

Join Clera as engineer #4 to build AI-powered recruiting automation that's disrupting a $600B industry. You'll ship features daily, own entire product areas, and work alongside founders in a San Francisco hackerhouse with early traction and $3M pre-seed funding.

What you'll do

• Build and ship agentic AI systems that automate complex recruiting workflows
• Own entire product features from concept through production deployment
• Work directly with the CTO and founding engineering team on core platform development
• Iterate rapidly based on customer feedback and market signals
• Contribute to technical architecture decisions that shape the product
• Collaborate in a high-velocity hackerhouse environment with daily shipping cycles

• TypeScript and React
• AI-assisted development (Cursor experience preferred)
• LLM API integration
