Founding Engineer ($3M pre-seed)

About this role

Join Clera as engineer #4 to build AI-powered recruiting automation that transforms how talent finds jobs. You'll own full product areas, ship daily, and work directly with founders at a pre-seed startup ($3M raised) with proven traction across VC-backed clients.

What you'll do

• Build and deploy agentic AI systems that automate end-to-end recruiting workflows
• Own complete product features from concept through production deployment
• Collaborate directly with founding team and CTO on technical direction
• Write and iterate code rapidly while maintaining quality standards as needed
• Gather customer feedback and iterate based on real-world usage patterns
• Contribute to architectural decisions for a scaling platform

• TypeScript and React
• AI/LLM API integration experience
• AI-assisted coding (Cursor or similar tools)
• Full-stack web development
