Founding Engineer (Potential CTO)

Join a seed-stage AI-focused health startup as a Founding Engineer, where you will help shape a pioneering mobile experience aimed at nervous system repair. This role involves leading the technical direction and building the company's core AI products in a collaborative, in-person environment in New York, San Francisco, or Montreal.

What you'll do

• Serve as a technical leader, potentially stepping into the CTO role.
• Develop and ship the first version of an AI coaching mobile app.
• Architect an AI-driven nervous system training coach.
• Transform biosignal data into personalized coaching insights.
• Create and maintain AI-powered QA and testing pipelines.
• Make full-stack technical decisions across multiple layers.

What they're looking for

• Expertise in React Native
• Experience with LLM-based systems
• Backend development in Node.js or Python
• Proficient with PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with HealthKit and wearable APIs
• Ability to work independently across the full tech stack
• Understanding of AI-native infrastructure
