About this role

An early-stage cloud-native startup seeks a Platform Engineer to design and build abstractions over Kubernetes, making multi-cluster management accessible to developers. You'll develop core platform features, GitOps workflows, and infrastructure components using Go, Terraform, and cloud-native tools while working closely with the founding team.

What you'll do

  • Build Kubernetes operators and controllers in Go for core platform features
  • Design GitOps workflows using ArgoCD for automated continuous deployment
  • Develop infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and Helm for cluster provisioning
  • Implement observability systems using Prometheus and Grafana for cluster monitoring
  • Work on distributed storage and container networking with Ceph, WEKA, and Cilium
  • Design federated multi-cluster architectures and automation tooling to reduce operational overhead
