Product Engineer (Mid-Level)

About this role

Join an early-stage AI recruiting startup as a mid-level Product Engineer to build full-stack features integrating LLM capabilities. You'll own products end-to-end while working closely with founders and design in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment in San Francisco.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end product features from requirements through production deployment
• Design APIs, data models, and implement frontend and backend code across the stack
• Ship user-facing experiences optimized for usability and performance with iterative feedback
• Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into product workflows to deliver reliable intelligence
• Design and implement scalable backend services, data schemas, CI/CD, monitoring, and testing infrastructure
• Collaborate with founders, product, and design on prioritization, roadmap, and success metrics

• Full-stack development (TypeScript, React/Next.js, Python or Node.js)
• API design and data modeling
• PostgreSQL database design and optimization
• AWS or GCP cloud platforms
• LLM/AI service integration (production experience)
• Backend services architecture and scalability

• Comfort with ambiguity and context-switching in early-stage startups
