Product Engineer (Software Engineer)

About this role

A well-funded fintech startup seeks a Product Engineer to build consumer-facing financial products that help with tax optimization, emergency cash, and credit building. You'll own features end-to-end using Go and GCP, working collaboratively with product and business teams to ship high-impact solutions to a growing user base.

What you'll do

• Build complete product features including domain models, business logic, and API integrations
• Use data pipelines and SQL analysis to evaluate product and system performance
• Test and debug complex state machines in event-driven, pub/sub backend systems
• Ship to production daily via CI/CD, owning implementations end-to-end and handling production incidents
• Practice data-driven, incremental development toward bold product milestones
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders across functions
