About this role
Clinically AI seeks a Quality & Reliability Engineer to ensure stability and correctness of AI-powered healthcare workflows. This role goes beyond traditional QA, focusing on systems reliability, AI behavior validation, and operational quality in complex clinical environments where testing must account for non-deterministic outputs and real-world workflow constraints.
What you'll do
- Design and build automated test suites using Playwright and other frameworks to validate AI-native healthcare workflows
- Validate AI system outputs, edge cases, and failure modes across clinical and operational use cases
- Test REST APIs for authentication, permissions, data integrity, and workflow behavior
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and implementation teams to identify and resolve reliability issues
- Debug issues across frontend, backend, and distributed systems with root cause analysis
- Ensure release confidence through comprehensive testing in CI/CD pipelines

- Test automation (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or WebdriverIO)
- JavaScript or TypeScript
- Frontend debugging and browser tools
- REST API validation
- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)
- Root cause analysis and technical communication
- Systems thinking and workflow analysis
- AI/LLM testing experience (preferred)
