About this role

Cloudflare seeks a Technical Support Engineer Intern for a 12-week intensive program (July-December 2026) in Singapore. You'll investigate complex technical issues for global customers, gain hands-on experience with networking and edge computing infrastructure, and directly influence product development through your findings.

What you'll do

  • Troubleshoot complex networking, security, and performance issues using professional-grade diagnostic tools
  • Help customers optimize Cloudflare Workers AI and explore LLM/vector database operations at the edge
  • Diagnose global traffic patterns across OSI Layers 3, 4, and 7 using command-line tools
  • Contribute to product runbooks and provide feedback to product management teams
  • Shadow senior engineers and participate in cross-functional projects
  • Work from Singapore office 3-5 days per week during the internship period

  • Networking fundamentals and OSI model knowledge
  • Command-line tools (curl, dig, mtr, openssl)
  • Python, JavaScript, or Bash scripting
  • Technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Cloud infrastructure and edge computing concepts
  • Problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Communication across technical and non-technical audiences
  • AI/ML concepts (helpful for Workers AI exposure)
