About this role

Code Metal seeks an IT Support Engineer in Boston to manage day-to-day IT operations, employee onboarding, and endpoint provisioning. You'll support a growing organization by maintaining device infrastructure, managing user access, and collaborating on IT process improvements while working toward a Top Secret security clearance.

What you'll do

  • Handle employee onboarding and offboarding including device setup, account provisioning, and access configuration
  • Provision, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, peripherals, and business software
  • Manage identity and access tasks including user permissions, MFA setup, and account troubleshooting
  • Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware, software, networking, and configuration issues
  • Maintain device inventory, asset records, and endpoint compliance documentation
  • Support IT initiatives, rollouts, and process improvements with the IT Operations Manager

What they're looking for

  • IT support and help desk experience (3+ years)
  • Device provisioning and user account administration
  • Scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
  • Endpoint management and identity provider systems
  • Troubleshooting across operating systems and hardware
  • MDM, SSO, and MFA tool administration
  • macOS, Windows, and Linux support
  • Security-conscious IT practices and asset management
