Security Engineer (Infrastructure)

About this role

Coder is hiring a Security Engineer to build automated guardrails and secure infrastructure across AWS and GCP. You'll partner with platform engineering teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and development workflows through infrastructure-as-code and automation practices.

What you'll do

• Design and implement security guardrails for multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP
• Harden CI/CD pipelines and improve software supply chain security
• Automate security and compliance tasks using infrastructure-as-code approaches
• Triage and review findings from cloud security tools like CNAPP and CSPM platforms
• Partner with engineering teams to prioritize risks and resolve security findings
• Promote everything-as-code practices across infrastructure, configuration, and policy

• Infrastructure security and cloud security (AWS/GCP)
• CI/CD security with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools
• Infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code (Terraform)
