About this role
CodeRabbit seeks a Design Engineer to build polished, intuitive interfaces for an AI code review platform across multiple surfaces (IDE, web, CLI, Git platforms). You'll bridge design and engineering to create high-trust developer experiences, prototyping rapidly and owning implementation quality from concept to production.
What you'll do
- Ship production-quality UI components and interactions that make AI code review suggestions trustworthy and effortless
- Rapidly prototype emerging AI experiences to validate concepts before full engineering investment
- Translate high-fidelity designs into pixel-perfect code while pushing design forward through technical innovation
- Maintain and evolve a design system spanning Web, IDE extensions, Git platforms, and CLI with reusable components
- Implement clear, performant visualizations for code metrics, dependency graphs, and AI-generated insights
- Set and enforce UI execution standards across the product, including smooth interactions and thoughtful motion design
