AI Research Engineer

About this role

Cogent Security seeks an AI Research Engineer to advance the frontier of automated reasoning and AI-driven code analysis for cybersecurity. You'll conduct original research, prototype novel solutions, and translate breakthroughs into the company's AI platform while publishing findings at top-tier venues.

What you'll do

• Conduct original research in AI and automated code reasoning, including static/dynamic analysis and formal verification
• Invent and prototype novel AI techniques for code reasoning and generation problems
• Design and execute automated testing and fuzzing strategies to validate systems
• Publish research findings at top-tier conferences and peer-reviewed journals
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate research into core platform
• Monitor cutting-edge ML and program analysis developments and propose relevant integrations
