Partner Deployed Engineer

About this role

Cognition seeks a technical expert to enable Global Systems Integrators in deploying and scaling Devin (AI software engineer) and Windsurf (AI-native IDE) across their client bases. You'll act as a force multiplier, building partner capability and repeatable solutions rather than supporting individual customers, blending technical depth with enablement and ecosystem strategy.

What you'll do

• Own technical success of GSI partners through onboarding, enablement, and scaled delivery of Devin/Windsurf
• Lead hands-on technical trainings, workshops, and deep dives for partner engineering teams
• Support partner-led customer pilots and production deployments, handling complex integrations and enterprise workflows
• Help partners build repeatable solutions, accelerators, and reference architectures on the platform
• Capture field learnings and partner feedback to inform product roadmap and partner readiness
• Build trust-based relationships with partner technical leaders and serve as escalation point for complex issues

What they're looking for

• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, TypeScript preferred)
• Experience writing, debugging, and deploying production systems
• Deep understanding of GSI/SI delivery models and enterprise software deployments
• Technical communication and ability to engage credibly with senior architects and executives
• Systems thinking and ability to reason about real-world technical complexity
• Experience with CI/CD, security reviews, and large-scale developer platforms
• Rapid learning in ambiguous, complex environments
• STEM degree and rigorous technical foundation
