Forward Deployed Engineer, Agentic Platform (Korea)

About this role

Cohere seeks a senior Forward Deployed Engineer to design and deploy LLM-powered agents for enterprise customers in Korea. You'll bridge product and clients, building production-grade agentic workflows that solve complex business problems in finance, healthcare, and telecommunications while mentoring distributed teams.

What you'll do

• Partner with enterprise customers to translate business challenges into well-defined agentic solutions with clear success metrics
• Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of LLM-powered agents with reliability and observability built in
• Build and launch features for North platform, owning use cases from conception through production
• Define evaluation standards, debug agent behavior, and systematically improve prompts, workflows, and guardrails
• Travel 20–40% to work on-site with customers and partners
• Mentor engineers across teams and drive organizational clarity on engineering standards and patterns

• Production software systems design and deployment
• LLM agent design and evaluation (prompt engineering, tool use, multi-step workflows)
• Modern LLM ecosystems (GPT, Claude, Gemini, RAG, vector databases, orchestration frameworks)
• Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Customer collaboration and stakeholder management
• Full-stack development across frontend and backend
• AI system evaluation and quality measurement
• Team mentorship and technical leadership
