Forward Deployed Engineer, Infrastructure Specialist (Public Sector)

About this role

Cohere seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead end-to-end deployment of its North AI platform in secure public sector environments across Canada. You'll work directly with government clients to design and implement compliant, private cloud solutions while serving as a technical bridge between Cohere's product and enterprise engineering teams.

What you'll do

• Lead deployment planning, configuration, testing, and rollout of North in private and on-premises cloud environments
• Partner with enterprise IT teams to assess infrastructure, security requirements, and data management practices
• Design deployment strategies tailored to client needs with compliance to data privacy and security standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues to minimize customer downtime
• Execute high-velocity experimentation and delivery to exceed customer expectations
• Travel 20-40% to support public sector clients across Canada

• Kubernetes administration and Helm expertise
