About this role

Cohere, a security-focused enterprise AI company, seeks an IT Support Engineer to serve as the primary technical support contact for the New York office. You'll provide first-response global IT assistance, manage hardware/software troubleshooting, oversee networking and AV systems, and support employee onboarding while maintaining documentation and compliance standards.

What you'll do

  • Provide first-response IT support for global requests during assigned shift
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for Mac devices and cloud tools
  • Manage in-office networking infrastructure, AV systems, and Wi-Fi optimization
  • Oversee laptop procurement and regional shipment tracking for USA
  • Support employee onboarding/offboarding and device fleet management
  • Document IT procedures, SOPs, and maintain compliance with SOC2/ISO27001 standards

  • Mac administration and support
  • Google Workspace and Slack administration
  • MDM platforms (Kandji, Iru, or JAMF)
  • Okta and Okta Workflows expertise
  • Python scripting and Google Apps Manager (GAM)
  • Networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, routers, switches, RADIUS)
  • Video conferencing support (Google Meet)
  • API orchestration and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
